Scouting the Kona Coast

My favorite part of Wedding Photography is finding those one of a kind dramatic locations for the Bride and Groom Portraits.   Most of the time the Wedding Portraits are taken on site where the Wedding was held for obvious reasons.

With some clients especially those who chose to have first looks, we sneak off to these locations and get crazy cool and creative one of a kind shots!  Sometimes it's the day before or even two days after the Wedding.

Here's a shot of me scouting the coastline,  the Wedding Portraits are very important and most likely to be the wall hangers!

Living in Kona and doing Landcape Photography before Wedding Photography gives me a huge benefit of having an abundance of dramatic locations!

I set this shot up expecting to place my Bride and Groom on the left side of this Sea Arch.   I can't wait to see a huge print of them in this location!!

Heres a shot of another location that we will use during the same session.

And I think you know where I'm putting the Bride and Groom for this shot ;)  such a beautiful Kona Sunset perfect for Dramatic Wedding Portrait Photography    aloha,    Alex
